This policy explains what information ClearSeat, Inc. ("ClearSeat," "we," "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to clearseat.io and to any ClearSeat domain that forwards to it.
Information you give us. When you request an assessment or contact us, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, work email address, company, where you are with SAP, and anything you write in the message field. If you email us, we keep the email and your reply address.
Information collected automatically. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records page views and general technical information such as browser type, device type, country, and the page you came from. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
What we do not collect. This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and uses no third-party advertising. We do not sell personal information and have not sold it in the past.
We do not use your information for automated decisions that affect you, and we do not send marketing email to people who have not contacted us.
We share personal information only with the service providers that run this website and our business, and only so they can do that work for us: our form service (Formspree), our hosting and analytics provider (Cloudflare), and our email and document provider (Microsoft 365). Each is bound by its own privacy terms and processes the information on our instructions. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Data we handle while delivering a service to a client, such as SAP user, role and usage data, is governed by the agreement with that client and our engagement security brief, not by this website policy. In short: that data stays in the client's environment, on a device the client issues, and we keep no copy after the engagement closes.
We keep contact form submissions and email correspondence for as long as needed to respond and, if a business relationship follows, for the life of that relationship plus the period required for our records. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you. You can ask us to delete your contact information at any time.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction that grants additional rights, such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a U.S. state with a privacy law, you have those rights too, and we will honor them. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights.
The website is served only over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted in transit. Our email is protected with multifactor authentication and standard email authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
This website is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
ClearSeat is based in the United States and processes information there. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States.
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted on this page for at least 30 days.
